Describe your college experience
College is full of amazing opportunities if you look for them. I have made a lot of connections by just getting out and meeting new people. Meeting friends of friends, being proactive in class and following my passions have led me to a lot of fulfilling and fun times. It can be challenging at times to navigate life at such a big school, but UCF does a great job of making everyone feel included.
Tip for future students
I would say be prepared to be rained on a lot, bring boots and an umbrella Orlando summer is no joke. I'd also say be sure to utilize the schools' free resources where possible, never spend money when you don't have to. Don't buy a meal plan unless you genuinely plan to use it daily.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Principles of Videography, that was my first time getting my hands on a professional camera and it was the first time I felt like I "made it" since being to school. It has inspired me to move forward in my endeavors.
Career goals
I hope to become a cinematographer, but I'd love to also be well rounded and work in photography, postproduction and non-profit.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love to wind down by popping on a good Marvel movie or playing one of the Batman Arkham Games.
