Describe your college experience

Going into college I had the mindset of graduating with a 4.0 GPA and having had made many great connections. Though I already failed that first goal, college has been an awesome chance for me to build an awesome network, develop skills, and slowly become accustomed to the professional space. Having founded my own on-campus club, currently founding a startup, and having just finished an internship, college has put me on track for a world of success.

Tip for future students

Research professional clubs you would br interested in joining prior to starting your first semester. This puts you ahead of majority of the people in your class in terms of professionalism. Moreover apply to internships as soon as possible, even before you get into college. Early recruiting cycles begin in August, before school starts, so don’t wait to apply to internships. Getting an internship as a freshman truly sets you apart.

Favorite class

BMGT340, Intro to Finance Being able to really build my foundational understanding of finance principles was extremely interesting and rewarding to me as it pertains to my industry of interest.

Career goals

I aspire to either have a full time job as a financial analyst, consultant, or project manager while running my startup. Once my startup has enough yearly profit for me to receive a living wage off of, I will switch into full time entrepreneurship.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Play basketball with friends, grab dinner, go get an energy drink, pull an all nighter studying/chatting.

High school or secondary school

Reservoir High School

Favorite spot on campus

I would say either the back side of the 1st floor of Mckeldin Library or the study carrels on the 6th floor of Mckelding Library. The 1st floor because it’s open l, but not too open, and is quiet, but not too quiet, enough for me to have great group study sessions. 6th floor carrels are great for silent solo study sessions.
