Describe your college experience

I was honestly super nervous coming from out-of-state and not knowing anyone going into college. However, I can say that I have loved every minute of my time here at Purdue. I found my forever friends and have loved the academic challenge that Purdue provides.

Tip for future students

Step outside your comfort zone. You never know if you will love something if you don't try. Join a club, go to a workout class, introduce yourself to your neighbor. There will never be a time in your life that is like college so enjoy it while it lasts.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been my genetics class because it is super interesting and is so applicable to the career in genetic couneling that I want to pursue. The professor is also super nice and understanding, which makes the class all the more enjoyable.

Career goals

I plan on attending grad school for Genetic Counseling.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I always love a night where I cook a yummy homemade meal, and then get cozy and watch a movie. However, I am also always down for a fun night out with my friends.
