Describe your college experience
I was more worried about the difficulty of my classes and meeting new people. But, I had a smooth transition into college. I spent a lot of my free time playing basketball and working out, which became a great way to meet people and build friendship I still have today. I'd say my experience has been defined by the connections I've made, striking up conversations with new people and getting involved on campus with clubs and intramural sports helped a lot with my confidence. Overall, it's been an amazing experience, and I'd love the chance to share that energy with prospective students.
Tip for future students
I would say don't be afraid to try new things. The best way to grow and learn is through experiences, and college is full of new and exciting experiences. Put yourself out there and in a position to grow as a person and meet new people. Don't waste this opportunity, college goes by fast and you'll have moments where you have to study for exams, so jump on as many opportunities as you can while you still have this freedom.
Favorite class
My favorite class here at OSU would be "BUSFIN 3400 - Intro to Real Estate" with Professor Stuckwisch. I've always had taken a interest in real estate as a whole but I mainly enjoy this course because of the class structure. We have open class discussions at the beginning to discuss current events and questions to keep class engagement high. It's very enjoyable to speak out about what's going on in the world.
Career goals
I've developed a strong interest in banking and consulting. I've been looking to gain more exposure through networking and internships. But right now, I'm keeping an open mind and focusing on building a strong foundation in finance that can help me figure out what fits me best.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would include hanging out with my friends. It doesn't matter what setting but I enjoy playing video games together, playing basketball, or watching a movie at our friends house.
