Describe your college experience
When I first started college, the transition was a little overwhelming. I was still adjusting to a new environment, meeting new people, and figuring out how to balance academics with everything else. At first, I kept to myself, but over time I began stepping out of my comfort zone, getting involved on campus, and meeting people who encouraged me to grow. Now, I feel more confident, connected, and excited to take on new challenges. My experience has taught me that college is not just about classes, but also about finding your place and making the most of every opportunity.
Tip for future students
One tip I’d give future students is to not be afraid to get involved early. Join a club, attend events, and introduce yourself to people even if it feels uncomfortable at first. Building connections will make your college experience so much more enjoyable. I also wish I had known how many resources the campus offers, from tutoring to career services. Don’t be afraid to ask for help there’s always someone here who wants to see you succeed.
Favorite class
My favorite class has to be English. Since Middle School, English has always been the subject I gravitate the most to. I’ve never had a bad English class.
Career goals
After college, I hope to attend law school and become a defense attorney. Long-term, I’d like to go into politics so I can work on creating fair and effective policies that truly serve people.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night is relaxing with friends maybe going out to eat, catching a campus event, or having a movie night. I love anything that combines good company, and good vibes.
