I’m an outgoing, civil engineer major, and I know places to go if you need help.

Hello, my name is Bobby and I’m a sophomore studying civil engineering. I also moved pretty far away to go here. I’m from New Jersey and it’s about 11 hour car ride to get here. When I got here, I thought maybe it’s gonna be pretty hard to meet people and talk to people that I’ve never met in my life. I only knew about two or three people here from my high school. Going to school event events. Library is a very good way to meet people with your same major. Friends that could be your friends for the rest of your life. If you ever have trouble meeting people or anything with your classes, you can easily go to a professor or TA that knows people in the same major zoo and they can easily get connections for you to become friends with them.

Describe your college experience

It’s a great experience I’ve thought maybe I wouldn’t learn a lot about my major in my first year but I definitely did and I had great opportunities to make new friends that have the same major.

Tip for future students

Definitely not being scared to find people to talk to just be open I thought I wouldn’t find anyone like me but it was the easiest thing to do.

Favorite class

Egr 101 because it’s helps you decide what major you really want to do and it’s a great for you to get connections.

Career goals

I hope to get a good civil engineering job.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with buddies watching sports or movies. Even playing games with them. Definitely studying and figuring out a good schedule.
