My first year had some great moments despite the rough path I had. I sought refuge in amazing student organizations and an amazing community in my residential college that strongly supports my academic progress.

Explore every opportunity, even ones you think you wouldn’t be interested in because most times there are benefits for you or you find something that you end up thoroughly enjoying.

Favorite class

My civil rights class has been my favorite because it was an immersive class and the professor enjoyed teaching the topics.

Career goals

I will take a gap year and attend law school with the hopes of eventually becoming a civil rights lawyer.

My ideal way to spend a free night is inside with friends doing hobbies or fun craft activities or going out with friends.
