Mississippi State University
I'm Victoria and I'm a Sophomore at Mississippi State University.
I'm majoring in Social Work at MSU. I am also an ambassador for Bully's Pantry, which is the food pantry on campus. I've learned a lot from my time here, and I know good tips for minimizing stress and adapting to the new academic life introduced to you when starting college.

Describe your college experience
The transition was a little difficult at first for my Freshman year, but I figured out the best way to be successful in school.
Tip for future students
Be open to talking to anyone in your classes. Get to know people in your dorm hall, so you have people to eat lunch with. Make sure to get more than one person's contact info for each of your classes.
Favorite class
General Psychology class, my Freshman year with Dr. C. Psychology has always been interesting to me, and this is a great freshman class to take if you're interested.
Career goals
I want to graduate with my Bachelor's degree and then pursue a Master's degree in Social Work, ultimately earning my LMSW.
Ideal way to spend a free night
If I am not working, I like to stay in my dorm and watch movies, or hang out with friends.
High school or secondary school
George County High School, which was in my hometown, Lucedale, Mississippi.
