I’m a pretty outgoing person who loves meeting new people, getting involved and finding new things to do in Santa Barbara. Describe your college experience
At first transitioning to college was hard. Coming from out of state it was hard to get into a rhythm away from my family and home town friends. As time passed, though it has become easier and I have gained so much love for my school and I could not imagine myself anywhere else.
Tip for future students
The transition is usually harder than you’d expect. I am a very independent person and did not think it would be as hard as it was so I would tell them to keep that in mind. With that being said it’s important to keep up with your classes and make sure you are not falling behind because it is so easy when you feel that way.
Favorite class
My favorite class that I have taken so far has been Sociology 1. Lectures were super interesting and most of that was due to my professor. She explained topics that I had even gone over in high school in such a compelling and engaging way.
Career goals
I aim to go to med school and become a doctor or something else within the medical realm.
Ideal way to spend a free night
It varies. I either like to go out with all of my friends or have a chill restorative night in where I do some homework or catch up on my favorite show.

Favorite spot on campus
At the beach! I am fortunate enough to go to a school that is literally on the beach so whenever I need to relax and clear my head I love to visit the beach. I also love to go with my friends after we get out of class or after finishing our homework.
