Hi! I am very grateful to have this experience at such a big university. I love to read, bake, take pictures, spend time in nature, listen to, and discover new music. I joined SchoolScoops because, during my senior year of high school, I had numerous questions about the transition from high school to college. I want to be the person who helps current seniors by guiding them and answering all the important questions they may have!

Describe your college experience

I started college at the beginning of the fall semester in late August. Thus far, I have had a pretty good time, although, being quite introverted, it has been more difficult for me to make friends. There are plenty of events and things all around UCF and Orlando that I have found. Any scene you are into, you can find, which is great for finding a diverse group of people to surround yourself with.

Tip for future students

Reach out, use the resources provided, don't be afraid to talk to people, as most everyone is kind and willing to keep in touch

Favorite class

My favorite class has been ENC1102, taught by Instructor Roz. This is a smaller class that allows for more interactive partner work, and Instructor Roz is very thorough and engaging. English has always been one of my favorites, and the freedom to explore topics that genuinely interest me has been a breath of fresh air.

Career goals

I hope to pursue either a career in law or continue on the path to becoming a therapist in psychology.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going to local concerts, exploring downtown Orlando, and watching a film.
