Hey there, I'm Bryce, and I transferred to the University of Georgia in my sophmore year of college. I completed my undergraduate program at UGA, earning a bachelor's degree in History. Now, I'm returning to UGA to pursue a master's degree in Higher Education! When I first came to UGA, I wasn't very social, but thanks to UGA's clubs, I developed my social skills and found incredible friends. I want to assist UGA in helping you like it helped me!

Describe your college experience

I came to the University of Georgia in my sophmore year. I had been jumping between majors, trying to find what I wanted to do with my life, and the faculty at the University of Georgia helped me to finally figure out the career I want to pursue, a History Professor.

Tip for future students

Get involved in student organizations and make use of your professors' office hours. It helps you build social skills, connect with peers, improve in your classes, and network.

Favorite class

ANTH 4242 Culture and Tourism in Bali This class was part of a study abroad program in which I studied how tourism had deeply affected Bali's people, positively and negatively. I adored this class as it was not only a hands-on experience, but it was also about the topic which I hope to research in the future, the cultural and economic impacts of tourism.

Career goals

I hope to find an administrative position within the university system while I continue to pursue a doctorate in History. Once I have my doctorate, I hope to find a position as a professor.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal night would be spent playing dungeons and dragons with my friends, all of whom I wouldn't have met if not for the clubs at the University of Georgia.

Favorite spot on campus

I'm a big fan of the Tate Student Center. It's the perfect spot to go between classes, regardless of what you want to do. You can grab lunch, find a spot to study, or even just hang out in the game room.
