Describe your college experience

I am an out of state student, so not too many people from my high school came here. I came for the engineering school, quickly realized that wasn't my path and now i'm loving construction management. i joined Alpha Omega Epsilon which is a professional sorority, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Tip for future students

I think that coming into college i felt like it was going to be a smooth transition, which in my personal life it was but not so much academically. I did okay but i 100% could've done better because i wasn't mentally prepared for that transition where i would have more "freedom" over my schedule.

Favorite class

I would say either spanish or construction documents.

Career goals

I hope to get in with a General Contractor when i graduate, i have completed two internships so far which ahs really helped me narrow down where i see myself after graduation.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I have a dog here at school with me, and so my ideal Friday night is curling up with him and watching a movie, maybe having a couple friends come over too.

A great tour with a very personable and knowledgeable guide. Emma was engaged and our daughter was thankful for all the insights into student life - both on campus and off. Emma was very polite, friendly and was able to easily field all the questions thrown her way. It was nice having an actual student show us around and not following a script provided by the university. We would definitely recommend her as a guide.
