Describe your college experience
Coming into college I thought I was gonna make a lot of friends and have a friend group by the first few weeks. But the reality was that a lot of people weren't going to like me, and people pleasing wasn't going to make me feel better about myself. Thankfully after I joined some clubs I was able to form a group of friends who also lived in my dorm that I am still friends with now and see every week. Also after transfering into the major I wanted, I have been surrounded by a lot more people with similar goals as me. I also started a pop-up business last semester that has been going well.
Tip for future students
Making genuine friends is not as easy as you think it's going to be, and it will take a while to find out who is actually a good friend for you and who is more of an aquintence. Also say yes to everything because I've met some of the most random people from just going out and doing things.
Favorite class
Advertising 250, it has allowed me to dive deeper in how to do research and mock campaigns on brands and I've also been able to create my own sustainable brand and make a presentation on it.
Career goals
I hope to grow my matcha pop-up business by getting into farmers markets, and popping up at different businesses. I also want to eventually work for a skincare/beauty brand in south korea.
Ideal way to spend a free night
On a free night, I like to hang out with friends whether that be going to public skate, playing volleyball, or trying out new restaurants. I also like to spend time editing my videos or playing Pokémon!
