Describe your college experience
I have loved every second of my experience at Cornell. As a Miami native, I'd say the hardest part was transitioning to the cold weather. I was the only student from my high school to commit to Cornell, so I was very nervous to enter this campus without anybody. But through my major, dorm, O-week, and clubs, I can confidently say I've found my people, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Tip for future students
Say yes to every opportunity and don't hesitate to introduce yourself to new people! Remember, everyone around you is in the same position and looking for their people.
Favorite class
My favorite course was PUBPOL2350 - The US Health Care System. I loved this class as it pushed me well beyond my comfort zone while keeping me genuinely engaged. I had absolutely no background in healthcare, but this class was able to open my eyes to the many different healthcare systems operating around the world.
Career goals
After college, I hope to work for a consulting firm.
