Describe your college experience
It definitely was a big change coming to this university. The academics were much more intense than high school and it was weird being on my own schedule and living alone. But UCSD has pushed me to become more independent and driven. It has introduced me to so many new friends and opened up so many doors and opportunities for me.
Tip for future students
One thing I wish I knew before coming to UCSD is that you really have to push yourself out of you comfort zone. You have to be social and really put in an effort to make friends and build connections.
Favorite class
My favorite class I have taken while at UCSD is definitely Cognitive Psychology with Professor Brady. This class was a lot of fun and the lecture material was very fascinating. But my favorite part of this class was the professor. Professor Brady was exteremly engaging and showed that he really cared about his students.
Career goals
I hope to go to graduate school abroad to achieve my masters in business administration or industrial-organizational psychology. I hope to live in Europe post-grad and become an industrial organizational psychologist. I want to work with different businesses and help them assess the quality of their organization and improve workplace productivity and morale.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My favorite way to spend a free night is going to a taco shop to get a burrito with friends and taking it to the beach in La Jolla to watch the sunset. After that I like to get ice cream and chat with my friends.
