Hi! I'm Frida, a friendly second year pre-med student at UCSD

Hello there! I'm Frida, a second year at UCSD majoring in Human Biology with a minor in Spanish Literature (I am fluent in Spanish also!), who absolutely loves getting to know people! Moving here for school was a whole new adventure for me, but this campus has grown to become my favorite home away from home. When I’m not in class, you’ll usually find me playing soccer, going out with friends, at Geisel Library studying, or trying out every coffee shop nearby until I find the absolute best iced latte! I know how exciting (and overwhelming!) campus life can be, so I’m always happy to share local tips, point out hidden study spots, or just offer a warm welcome. Looking forward to meeting you!

Describe your college experience

My transition to college was incredibly difficult. I often felt alone and nervous at all times. I knew something had to change. I soon realized there is something out there for everyone at my school, so I became more involved! It was the best decision I could have made. I now have so many friends and mentors that I love and cherish!
