Describe your college experience

Moving from India to Philadelphia was a big change, but Drexel quickly started feeling like home. As a Fashion Design student, I've loved balancing studio classes with exploring Philly's creative scene. I've gotten involved through internships, campus organizations, and events, which helped me meet amazing people and grow both personally and professionally. My transition definitely came with a learning curve, but it's made me more independent, confident, and excited for everything still ahead.

Tip for future students

Say yes to opportunities, even if they feel a little intimidating. Join clubs, talk to your professors, and explore the city, it'll make college feel much smaller and more like home, and also don't stress about having everything figured out, everybody is learning and thriving together.

Favorite class

Fashion Figure Drawing has been my favorite class because it pushed me to see fashion beyond clothing. It improved my observation skills, creativity, and taught me how to communicate ideas through illustration, something I use in almost every design project now.

Career goals

I hope to launch my own global fashion brand that empowers people through thoughtful design and stands for everything that is me. I also want to grow into a strong business leader, create opportunities for others, and make my parents proud.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is spent sketching new collection ideas, learning a new fashion skill, or watching a fashion film that sparks fresh inspiration.

High school or secondary school

Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School - India

Favorite spot on campus

The garden outside the Rush Building is my favorite place on campus. I love how it feels like you've stepped into a completely different world. In just a few steps, the noise of campus fades away, and it's the perfect place to relax, reflect, or find inspiration between studio classes.
