Growing up in an inner-city community and attending a predominantly white institution has helped me adapt to new environments and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. The transition challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, build confidence, and find my place on campus. Changing my major from Sports Industry to Information Systems also taught me the importance of being open to new opportunities and pursuing the path that best fits my goals.
