Describe your college experience
The transition from high school to college was surprisingly pretty smooth, and after attending orientation I mostly understood what to do. My experience at UCF so far has been really good, and I love going to different events and places on campus.
Tip for future students
1. For students planning to live in a dorm: Bring a Fan! It can get really hot in the dorms, especially in the summer, so always make sure to bring something that can cool you down. Another tip, never forget your keycard or keys, they can be very expensive to bring so always make sure you have it before leaving your dorm. 2. Explore the campus! I would recommend that every new student takes some time to explore the campus during their first 2 weeks. The campus is really big and it can be easy to get lost, so it is important to know where everything is and how to navigate the large campus. 3. Attend school events! UCF is almost always hosting different events that students can attend, like movie nights, game nights, and sports games. It is important to attend these events and have fun in order to get the full college experience at UCF!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been HUM2020. I find the classes content very interesting as it has taught me a lot about philosophy and its connection to the sea. It is a really good class!
Career goals
After college, I hope to work as a registered nurse, and help people in my community. I also hope to travel around and see the world.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is to wind down and watch some TV, or play video games. Sometimes I’ll also bake, brownies are my favorite things to make when I am bored!
