Describe your college experience

It was really difficult for me to transition to school especially coming from out-of-state. It was really hard moving here and not having go-to immediate friends, but it really does get better. I've found some of my best friends here that I can't imagine living without. I've built a home away from home and I truly feel like I'm a better person from branching out. CU is an incredibly campus and has something for everyone, at the UMC alone there are countless activities and Boulder alone is incredible to explore. I honestly cannot say enough good things about CU, but I can say it was really hard to transition and I am happy to talk more about that during a tour.

Tip for future students

My biggest tip is to always be open and say yes to everything (as long as it's safe). What I mean by this is be willing to step outside your comfort zone and meet new people and always be open to hanging out. Obviously don't do anything you think is dangerous, but as long as it's safe, always say yes, you never know what memories you're gonna make. My most thought saying is that everything happens for a reason and you're right where you're meant to be.

Favorite class

Honestly it's been my business of sports class. We were exposed to so many amazing opportunities and it has really gotten me prepared for the job market. Outside of that I gotta say any of my marketing classes, my professor Meg Winter has been amazing so any of her classes.

Career goals

I hope to go into sports or entertainment and do partnerships or brand marketing.

Ideal way to spend a free night

It depends on what day of the week it is. A weekday I'll spend time with my roommates or go on random sidequests, whether that be going up to lost gulch lookout, wandering around and finding something to do, or just watching a movie. On the weekends I really just see where the wind takes me, I do really enjoy a good darty or house party or even a chill bbq with just a few people.
