Hannah Reilly sophomore at Pitt, accounting student on the pre-law track.

Hi! My name is Hannah Reilly, and I’m a rising sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in accounting. I’m originally from Long Island, New York, and have really enjoyed becoming part of the Pitt community. I love meeting new people, sharing my experiences, and helping others feel welcome, which is why I’m excited about the opportunity to become a campus tour guide.

Describe your college experience

Transition into college was welcoming, felt the dorms had a really good community and was surrounded by a diverse group where it felt impossible to not find your people. With classes that was a different adjustment and you learn a lot about yourself but it is doable and everyone is in the same boat. After the initial shock of college it all settled in and became my new normal which I loved.

Tip for future students

Get involved in as many things as possible and don’t be afraid to ask for help in any sort of way, there are resources to help you!

Favorite class

Intro to WW2 history in Europe, I really liked the content and the professor. Also the way the it was taught. It was also a good switch up from all my business classes.

Career goals

Interested in law school to study tax-law.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with my friends in the dorm and having a chill night playing card games and grabbing a bite to eat.

High school or secondary school

South side high school
