Describe your college experience

It’s been full of opportunities that I never even thought about in high school. However, it is all about reaching out and grabbing what is in front of you. Going to a UC often means it’s sink or swim, so if you are proactive and love jumping on opportunities it’s a great place for you!

Tip for future students

I was really scared of jumping into the deep end at UCLA not knowing how competitive it would be or if I was cut out for it. There is no personality trait or thing inherent to you that you need to succeed here. It is always a matter of if you can adapt and thrive.

Favorite class

My Russian history class because my professor happened to be a scholar of Pushkin who is one of my favorite poets and authors. I had great conversations with him! UCLA can feel a lot like a smaller liberal arts college if you put the effort into actually knowing and interacting with your teachers.

Career goals

I want to go into venture capital, entrepreneurship, or consulting.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Go to get some great food on campus, and hang out with my friends near the campus steps at Royce Hall.
