Future Buff? I'm a second-year student that can help you get to know CU Boulder!
I'm a second year student at CU Boulder and a rising junior, double majoring in physics and acting! I transfered to Boulder a couple semesters ago and am so proud to call it my home. I'm heavily involved in all sorts of clubs and organizations such as Society of Physics students, theatre, dance, music, and math clubs. I have also been around East Campus as a teaching assistant for summer camps. Safe to say I've visited almost every corner of our lovely campus for one activity or another and I would love to be the one to show you around!

Describe your college experience
Transfering to CU Boulder was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. Since my first day here, I've grown as both a student and student, as Boulder encourages you to push yourself past your comfort zone in both those areas. I've met some of my best friends through classes, roommates, and clubs/organizations. It's super easy to get involved in activities here at CU, mostly because everyone is so inviting, warm, and always will be down to help you out. I'm so happy to call this campus my home!
Tip for future students
Don't be embrassed to just go up to someone, say hi, and start a conversation! A compliment on their outfit, a question, or even directions to somewhere. You'd be surprised at how kind and open the people are here! Acadmic wise, do as much research as you can about your degree plan as you can and make sure to talk to your advisor about it too! The earlier you figure out how to understand your degree audit (degree plan), the better off and stress-free through the semesters.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Calculus III with Joe Macula. Despite it being an 8am class every single day of the week, our proffesor never failed to make us feel comfortable with the material. Overall, the math department at CU Boulder is very helpful.
Career goals
After college, I hope to throw myself into full time stage acting as well as a research position in the space science field.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love getting takeout from The Hill, going to home, and watching a movie with my roommates! For a more exciting night, we'll even go to Denver downtown to hang out, shop, and eat.
High school or secondary school
Carroll Senior High School (Dallas, TX) University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK)
Previous college
I trasnfered to CU after one year at the University of Oklahoma. The trasnfer application process is just about the same as the first-year application, just with the due dates a bit later in the year. CU Boulder was very helpful with processing my trasncripts, credits, and helping me with living situations. Other than a few questions, the transfer process was self-explanatory and smooth.
