Funloving Human Biology major who would love to guide you in the right direction

Hello hello! My name is Alexis! I am currently in my second year at Michigan State University, though I am technically a junior credit-wise! I am pre-PA and love MSU more than anything! The community is amazing and though it can be crazy, it's home. Campus is insanely beautiful with so many beautiful spaces and amazing opportunities that I cannot wait to tell you about! Even though most of my classes are in the same area, I love all of campus and I'm looking forward to showing you all of it's beauty. I'm so ready to meet you and answer your questions and give the inside scoop about what MSU's really like. I can't wait to meet you and help you along your college journey!

Describe your college experience

My transition into college life went very well! MSU is great about greeting freshman and involving them in clubs. Beginning in welcome week there are so many events to meet those around you and become involved at school and in clubs.

Tip for future students

Make the most of it. It can be scary meeting new people, especially going to such a big school, but don't let fear get in the way of having fun. Talk to the people on your floor, join clubs, and get involved. You don't want to leave college without making any memories, so get started from the second you get on campus

Favorite class

My favorite class was ISS 207. It was a class about black horror, and not only did it teach me a lot about the horror genre and how it reflects real life, but much of our in class time and homework was watching horror movies.

Career goals

I hope to become a physician assistant after graduating, though I will need to go back to PA school before I can become one.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night is by hanging out with my friends/roommate. Whether it is a cozy night in or having fun out and about, I love to be around people and enjoy their company.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the courtyard outside the chemistry building. It is a gorgeous space and it is filled with benches so it is an extremely convenient space to be outside while also studying for classes/passing time before your next class.
