Friendly Davidson Scholar-Athlete Who Loves Travel & Exploring New Places
Hi! I’m Chloe, a student at Davidson College studying Biology on the pre-health track. I’m from Houston, Texas, and I love being active, traveling, and exploring new places. I played Division I volleyball at Davidson, so sports and staying active have always been a big part of my life. Outside of school, I enjoy running, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, spending time with friends, and experiencing different cultures. I’m friendly, easygoing, and always excited to meet new people and make the most of new experiences!

Describe your college experience
My transition to college has been a big learning experience, both academically and personally. Davidson has pushed me to become more independent, step outside of my comfort zone, and figure out what I’m genuinely interested in. I’ve met people from so many different backgrounds and have gotten involved in different parts of campus, which has made Davidson feel like home.
Tip for future students
Don’t feel like you need to have everything figured out right away. Try new things, get involved, and take advantage of opportunities even if they are outside of your comfort zone. Your college experience will probably look different from what you originally expected, and that’s okay.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Representing Fat Bodies because it challenged me to think about body image, health, and society in ways I hadn’t considered before. I especially liked discussing how media and cultural attitudes shape the way we understand and treat different bodies.
Career goals
After college, I hope to become an Anesthesiologist Assistant. I’m interested in anesthesia because it combines physiology, hands-on patient care, and working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night would be getting dinner out with friends, grabbing a dessert, and then hanging out together. I like having a night where I can relax and catch up with people without having to worry about schoolwork.
High school or secondary school
Stratford High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is Nummit. I love stopping by for coffee between classes or grabbing something when I need a break from studying. It’s also a great place to run into friends and catch up, so it has become one of my favorite parts of my everyday routine at Davidson.
