Describe your college experience

My transition to college has been exciting, busy, and honestly one of the best phases of my life so far. Joining Alpha Chi Omega helped me find my people right away, and being involved on campus has made UNL feel like home. Balancing classes, sorority life, volunteering, and work took some adjustment, but I’ve grown a lot in my independence, time management, and confidence. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there during the first few weeks. Getting involved early, whether it’s Greek life, clubs, or volunteering. It makes a huge difference. Also, stay organized, communicate with professors, and don’t wait until the last minute to ask for help. And enjoy it! The little moments with friends end up becoming your favorite memories.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been ADPR 151. I love how it connects to real-world advertising, branding, and communication, and I enjoy assignments that let me be creative and think like a strategist. The class made me even more excited about my major and helped me understand how messaging, design, and audience insight all come together to shape effective campaigns.

Career goals

After college, I hope to work in international business, ideally in a role that allows me to travel, build global connections, and understand how different markets operate. With my minor in finance, I’m also interested in the financial side of global business. Whether that’s managing international operations, working in global trade, or helping companies expand into new regions. My goal is to find a career where I can grow, experience new cultures, and make a positive impact on a global scale.

Ideal way to spend a free night

A perfect free night for me would be hanging out with friends. Either a chill night in, a themed dorm “wine night,” or getting ready together for a social or game day. I love anything that involves laughing, good music, and being around people I care about.
