Describe your college experience
Transitioning to college was so exciting for me! Clemson has always felt like home, and the place I am meant to be. As a freshman, I found comfort in getting involved on campus through my sorority, joining the club swim team, and finding fellowship through campus ministries. Being part of such a supportive community has helped me grow personally and academically. I have loved learning from my professors and discovering what I am truly passionate about.
Tip for future students
One tip I would give future students is to get involved early, even if it feels intimidating. Joining clubs and putting yourself out there is the best way to find your people and make Clemson feel like home. I also wish I had known that it’s okay not to have everything figured out right away. Everyone is adjusting, and it is normal to take time to find your rhythm!
Favorite class
One of my favorite classes so far has been Child Growth and Development. It gave me such a meaningful look into how children think and grow. This is something that really connected to my passion for education. The class combined real-world observation with what we learned in lectures, which made it both engaging and impactful.
Career goals
After college, I hope to become an elementary school teacher and eventually work my way into school leadership as a principal. I am very passionate about creating supportive learning environments where every child feels seen and encouraged to reach their full potential. My main goal is to make a lasting impact in education and help shape future generations.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is grabbing dinner with friends in downtown Clemson, then relaxing with a movie or going for a walk around campus! I love spending quality time with my friends, and taking time to unwind after a busy day.
