Friendly, active bio major who knows every corner of the school!
Hi! I'm Albert, a junior Bio major who's basically allergic to sitting still. Between dragon boat practice, racket sports, and beach volleyball, I'm out on campus a ton — and when I do slow down, it's usually with a skateboard under my feet or music playing in the background. More often than I like, you can also find me on the grind, studying in my secret spots around campus (you'll have to come on my tour to find out where!) I love meeting new people and showing them around, so if you're staying with me, expect good recommendations and an easy conversation. Excited to meet you!

Describe your college experience
It's been really good! I've learned to be a lot more independent (cooking, cleaning, commuting, etc.), and the freedom of college has allowed me to explore various interests and passions. My outgoing personality combined with my university's many opportunities has allowed me to find multiple communities where I feel supported and where I can lead and thrive.
Tip for future students
Get involved and try everything! Don't be afraid of new people or new things! I only found my dragon boat team because I had never heard of the sport and stopped by their table during week 0. There are opportunities everywhere if you're just open and looking.
Favorite class
Organic Chemistry was super cool! I learned a lot and it gave me a new appreciation of the world around us. A lot of really cool fundamental information I can't wait to build on this year.
Career goals
Planning to take a gap year to travel/work, and then med school.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Play some badminton or tennis with friends, skateboard over to a restaurant to grab a quick dinner, then go see an Art Power concert and finally, hang out at their dorm or outside and chat it up!
High school or secondary school
Clarence High School
Favorite spot on campus
Stonehenge at Revelle! In such a busy campus, it's a nice scenic spot to chill with friends. Sometimes we climb the pillars and have little picnics on top of the structures, lots of fun!
