Describe your college experience

I love Santa Barbara and living in the same square mile as all of your friends and being able to bike anywhere is really unique and something I definitely miss when I go home

Tip for future students

Try to stay out of your room, especially as an incoming freshman, as you can meet people anywhere else but there. Your dorm has great communal study spaces, the library is great, you’ll see people at dining halls or at classes, just make sure you put yourself out there so you have these opportunities.

Favorite class

PSTAT 160 introduced me to high level statistics concepts like Markov Chains and exposed their connection to financial markets.

Career goals

Break into finance in investment banking or other sector

Ideal way to spend a free night

Watch a movie or play a board game with a bunch of friends

High school or secondary school

La Cañada High School

Favorite spot on campus

Chem lawn, always people having fun or rushing to their classes or just having a chat

Meeting point

Base of Storke Tower on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus
