Hello, my name is Suhas Gattu, and I'm a sophomore at IU studying finance & accounting. I love playing basketball, weightlifting, and cooking food in my free time. I am always looking forward to helping new students get used to campus, navigate student organizations, and learn how to have fun around campus as well! Please reach out if any of that sounds helpful, and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Describe your college experience

I have really enjoyed my college experience so far. Coming in, I was nervous I wouldn't meet people being from out of state, but I met a lot of amazing friends and have found this school's resources and opportunities very strong as well.

Tip for future students

My biggest tip is to get out there and involve yourself in everything. IU is a great school with endless opportunities, you just have to go out and look.

Favorite class

Intro to Piano class because I was able to learn how to play the piano and had a lot of fun doing so,

Career goals

I hope to go into investment banking.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I enjoy spending a free night with my friends. This could be in the form of going out to eat food, staying in and playing video games, or cooking food together and watching a movie.

High school or secondary school

Panther Creek HS

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is Kirkwood because of all the great food there. There is so much try across various cuisines, and I enjoy going there to take a break from work.
