Describe your college experience
Coming to NYU was initially very daunting. Being thrown in such a busy city after growing up between Philadelphia suburbs and Italy was a big difference. I was able however to navigate the city quite well after the first few weeks of adjusting and made friends that will last me a lifetime. Being a premed student, courses sometimes became quite intense, but with a good support group of friends I was able to make it through it all. NYU has pushed me to evolve as a student and grow as a person, and I'm excited for what this last year has in store for me.
Tip for future students
To make the most of NYU, I believe it's important to get involved in clubs, explore the city beyond campus, and build relationships with your professors early on. Stay organized since classes can be spread out, and find your favorite study spots—whether that’s the library or a café. Stay open to new experiences, embrace the diversity around you, and always keep safety in mind.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been biochemistry. It was an intriguing class in which I applied all the knowledge I had gained in my previous biology and chemistry courses. It challenged me to think in ways I hadn't before and made me even more passionate about the molecular processes that happen in our bodies.
Career goals
I will apply to medical school to pursue a career as a physician.

Walking around the city with friends without a clear plan.
