Describe your college experience
I have connected highly with my college community in many ways. I have also gotten to know the surrounding city and its inhabitants. Santa Cruz has given me the opportunity to explore myself, my education, and my community while being at one of the most beautiful universities in the nation. I have had so many experiences and opportunities given to me through being at UCSC that have helped my growth and opened me up as a person.
Tip for future students
Consider not who you are, but also who you want to be when choosing this school. It allows you not only to come as you are, but to transform and be accepted in every way throughout your journey.
Favorite class
PSYC 100- Research Methods has been my favorite class so far because it structured my understanding of my major and introduced me to the peers in my field on a collaborative level.
Career goals
I hope to obtain my graduate degree in clinical psychology and start the journey to being a licensed marriage and family counselor.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be to have dinner at a sushi restaurant with a friend and then go to see a movie in the theater.
