Engaged, involved student with tips to succeed and enjoy UC Berkeley.
Hi! I'm Kate, a senior at Cal. As an out-of-state student, I didn't know exactly what to expect when moving here for school. 3 years later, I know taking the risk and choosing Cal was the best decision I could have made. The community I have found here has been incredible, and I never stop discovering new opportunities to learn, grow, and explore. There are always fun things happening in and around campus, and I know all the best local spots for food, studying, hikes, and more. I have so much advice to share that I wish I knew when starting out, and can't wait to answer all the questions you may have!
