Describe your college experience
The transition to college was challenging, but in getting to know myself and my surroundings as well as putting myself out there and getting comfortable in the uncomfortable, I have made insane strides. It is a time of transition like no other, but shows you so much about yourself and the life you want to lead. I got involved immediately and immersed myself with like-minded people, creating a close-nit group of peers that I could share this experience with. I found balance in schoolwork, taking care of myself, and being social in order to really soak up the college experience while not getting carried away. I am so excited to continue and finish out my undergraduate.
Tip for future students
Get involved and put yourself out there! You make your own experience and it's so important to seek out and take advantage of all the opportunities available to you. It really is one day at a time.
Favorite class
My Cognitive Psychology class was great! The department is really passionate and I learned so much from someone who loves the subject himself. Highly recommend Bryan Holbrook!
Career goals
I aim to become a Speech Pathologist working with elementary aged students.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love spending time with my close nit group of friends. We do game nights, cook, watch tv, craft, or go out and find the nearest function. I don't prefer larger groups, but I love getting to know people for who they actually are.

Favorite spot on campus
The knoll on campus overlooks the field and feels like you're on the edge of the world. The entire campus is beautiful.
