Currently a sophomore at CU Boulder as a Business major and Art Studies minor

Hi! I'm Olivia, I am a sophomore at CU Boulder who loves helping future Buffs get a real feel for campus life. I'm involved in Greek life, student leadership, creative clubs, and club sports! I give honest, helpful insight into academics, social life, and finding your place at such a big university. I am Celiac (gluten-free), so I can answer any and all questions about allergies on campus. I am very active and love the outdoors, and am familiar with all the best spots on and off campus for fun activities or quiet study spots!

Describe your college experience

Transitioning to CU Boulder was exciting and surprisingly smooth. I found my community through Greek life and campus involvement, and i've loved exploring both the academic and creative sides of Boulder. I've learned how important it is to balance school and social life, and CU Boulder has been a great place to grow into myself and figure out what I want out of life.

Tip for future students

Don't be afraid to try multiple things early on, clubs, classes, jobs, etc. CU Boulder has so many opportunities, and there is always something to do. Exploring and putting yourself out there is the best way to find your people and your path.

Favorite class

My favorite class was probably my ART1010 course I took. My professor painted the covers of The New Yorker,, and she really helped me advance my skills. I also surprisingly liked my EXCEL calculator building class, even though it was out of my comfort zone I ended up using my skills all summer at my internship.

Career goals

I hope to work in a creative business role, something that blends my passion for art with my people skills and intellect.

Ideal way to spend a free night

After an F45 workout class at the gym my ideal night is going to Boulder Creek in the afternoon to lie out and tan, then going to paint Chautauqua at sunset with my friends from my art class. Then, I would probably get ready for dinner and go to Bar Taco on Pearl Street with my sorority sisters before going out on the Hill to party.
