Describe your college experience
My transition to Colby was intense but incredibly rewarding. Colby pushes you academically while also giving you room to explore who you are outside the classroom. Leading multiple organizations simultaneously taught me discipline and time management, while my Government major pushed me to think critically and write clearly. Over time, Colby has felt less intimidating and more like a tight knit community where professors genuinely care and students support one another.
Tip for future students
Join clubs. Get involved. You won’t find your people right away, and that’s okay.
Favorite class
Logic and argumentation with Dan Cohen was the best class I’ve taken at Colby. The course fundamentally changed how I evaluate any argument.
Career goals
I hope to attend law school.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Pick up takeout from a local spot downtown then drive to the Hume (Colby’s own lake!) and enjoy the sunset with friends.
High school or secondary school
Tarbut v’ Torah, Wellington College International Shanghai
Favorite spot on campus
The Gordon Center is my favorite due to how modern it is and all the great study spots scattered around the building.
