Describe your college experience
My transition, much like other students, was a little scary and very exciting, but Clemson made it way smoother than I had expected. I found friends easily, understood and stuck to a routine, and grew academically and socially. There hasn't been a single day where I regret going where I go and doing what I do. As a Bridge to Clemson student, I got to experience my freshman year at both Clemson and TCTC. I would attend Tri-County for my classes and everything else was on the main campus. I've learned shortcuts to different spots and the best times to do lots of things, like getting food, working out, and hanging out around Clemson.
Tip for future students
Be open to meeting people, trying new things, and finding different ways to be yourself. I've learned that's exactly what college is for. Take advantage of Douthit. Put down your phone when you can and admire how beautiful the campus is.
Favorite class
Accelerated Composition has been my favorite course so far. My professor was great and the class was very engaging and fun.
Career goals
I want to work in the world of finance- whether that's financial analysis, investing, or consulting
Ideal way to spend a free night
Hang with my friends- in and out of the dorm, walk around Campus, meet new people.
High school or secondary school
I attended Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, SC, USA.
Meeting point
Carillon Garden on the Clemson University campus
