Describe your college experience

I have experienced so much in college, and hopefully still have so much more to experience with my last year remaining. It’s been such an amazing experience and journey, the school is definitely challenging but I think it’s worth the occasional stress because of where it can take you in your future. Do NOT get consumed by the motto “my heart is in the work”, please take care of yourself, take breaks, touch grass any time you can (as you may know Pittsburgh winter is rough).

Tip for future students

Make the most of it. Of everything. Try to get involved in any and everything that interests you and pick 2-3 clubs​/​organizations that you know you’ll stick with after experimenting during the first weeks - semester of college. Even if you don’t make friends during orientation week does not mean you are doomed!!! People come and go during college, but you will friends those that resonate with you, just make sure you go outside, lol.

Favorite class

Any Arabic class because they are so close knit and interesting. Also during my study abroad to the Qatar campus, I loved taking horseback riding.

Career goals

I hope to work in finance for 2-3 years then transition to law school.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hang out with friends in the dorm or in the center. Walk around schenley park. Go to a fun student event.
