Describe your college experience

Being from New Jersey, Arizona was a very big jump for me to make and I was very nervous at first. Looking back now though, I would never change my decision. Through my first year at ASU I made friends that I consider lifelong now. From roommates, floor-mates, classmates, and other students on campus I was able to surround myself with positive people very quickly. Having that support system really made the entire year one of the best of my life. I got along great with my professors which really helped in this new learning environment that differs from high school. One thing I learned is that everyone at ASU is here to help and guide you. It's not supposed to be a struggle and the help of professors really proved that. When I decided to branch out and join greek life it was absolutely amazing. I have met so many good friends through a fraternity that all share the same passions and motivation to succeed as myself.

Tip for future students

It may seem scary in a place you're not used to with all new people, living environment, and classes. My advice is to take it one day at a time and keep your head up because you will find your people. My biggest fear was that I wouldn't find friends or classes were going to be really hard. What I didn't realize is that everyone feels this way, not just you and that's what makes it so amazing. Everyone is looking for these things and even with a tiny hello at the beginning of the year you will make a new friend.

Favorite class

My favorite class was easily Psychology 101. My Professor Dr. C really showed me what a true and caring instructor should look like. The lectures were very interesting and taught me a lot but more importantly they were entertaining. This was the introduction class for my next four years of school really and I couldn't have been more excited and hopeful with any other class

Career goals

After college I hope to pursue my Masters degree through a school back in New Jersey. With that I would like to focus my studies on forensic or clinical psychology!

Ideal way to spend a free night

The best way for me to spend a free night is seeing my friends. Whether that's going out or a chill night in, I love surrounding myself with other positive people who always show me a good time.
