Biology Major who knows every tip and trick about Rutgers
Hi everyone! My name is Victoria, and I’m a Biological Sciences major at Rutgers–New Brunswick on the pre-PA track. I’m originally from New Jersey, and one of the things I’ve really enjoyed about Rutgers is being able to explore so many different opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. I’m especially interested in healthcare and hope to pursue a career as a physician assistant. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with friends, trying new foods, taking pictures, and exploring campus. I’m excited to be a tour guide because I remember what it was like trying to picture myself at Rutgers, and I’d love to help prospective students and their families get a genuine feel for what life here is like.

Describe your college experience
My college experience has definitely been a big adjustment however the community I built here has made this adjustment far easier and smoother. My classes have taught me so much and just being here I’ve learned so much about the kind of person I am/ want to be.
Tip for future students
A tip I have for future students is to surround yourself with people who are going to support your journey here at Rutgers. Another tip is to not spread yourself too thin and try to find a balance between school and having personal time.
Favorite class
My favorite class has to be Human anatomy because I find it so fascinating as well as very engaging. The professor is very passionate about her teachings and i find it easy to click with the material because of that.
Career goals
I hope in the future to graduate with a undergrad degree of Biological Sciences in hopes of going to Physician Assistant school and studying Labor and delivery as a PA
Ideal way to spend a free night
An ideal way to spend a free night would definitely be having friends over my dorm and popping on a movie and ordering some food.
High school or secondary school
Kearny High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus has to be Passion puddle because I find it nice to sit by the pond and study.
