"Tufts is a great school..." Everyone says this. Everyone told me this when I was entering as a freshman. But for what? In what way? Great to who? These questions took a while for me to get the answers to, such as knowing about the pre-med culture at Tufts, gauging the best activities to do in the Boston area and on campus as a premed, how the life sciences program is at Tufts, who to talk to, how to adjust to Tufts, the best dining spots​/​strategies. As a rising junior with a plethora of experience in healthcare and research and involvement on campus, and with a twin brother majoring in CH who also is attending Tufts and got into the Early Assurance Program to Tufts Medical School this year, I can help. As someone who's also interested in life sciences consulting and recently diving deeper into finance, I can also help with "pivoting" if you are interested in other fields like psychology and even history beyond pre-med.

Describe your college experience

While some aspects such as social life and personal discovery took time to get used to, Tufts has been great in terms of supporting career advising, class selection, professors, and clubs.

Tip for future students

Explore early on in a variety of ways. Not just classes, but clubs and jobs around the Boston area. Boston is a large city with many things to do, but there may not be as many "younger" activities that existed in LA or major cities in Korea like Seoul.

Cell Biology, covers alot of essential biology that would be utilized in labs or future coursework.
