HI! I'm Anna Claire, a first-year student (academically a sophomore), with an intended major of journalism, and a dream of working in sports! I've been a UGA fan my entire life, and fell in love with the campus the first time I visited at the age of 10. You can usually catch me at any sporting event (if you can't already guess that), or hanging out with friends around campus! I also love to stay in and read a good book or binge watch a new show. I'd love to show you around campus, fill you in on all the amazing UGA traditions, give you plenty of 7 Brew recommendations, share all the reasons I fell in love with UGA, and tell you exactly what it's like to be a student at the best university in the world! Describe your college experience

So far, UGA has given me an amazing experience. I've met my amazing roommate, made so many new friends, had a great time at orientation, and, of course, the athletic events are always fun!

Tip for future students

Don't be scared to reach out and talk to new people; the chances are, they're waiting for someone to talk to them too!

Favorite class

I have not yet started (FDOC is 8​/​17​/​26), but the class I'm looking forward to most is JRLC 1001. I've heard nothing but amazing things about the class and the opportunities it can help create!

Career goals

After college, I hope to work in sports, either writing or doing photography!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Me, my roommate, and our friends spending our Saturdays in Sanford Stadium watching the Dawgs play between the hedges!

I'm a huge sports person, so any of the athletic facilities are my favorite places to be at, but my top 3 would have to be Sanford Stadium, Foley Field, and Jack Turner Softball Stadium!
