A welcoming International Affairs major who knows campus like it’s her own home!
Hi! I’m Jahnvi, a GW sophomore majoring in International Affairs at the Elliott School. I am on the Pre-Law track so I am in the WPLSA, I’m the Director of Events for Leading Women of Tomorrow, and I’m a member of the South Asian Society. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends, volunteer, bake yummy treats, and go on walks on the National Mall. I look forward to meeting you and helping you learn about on-campus life!

Describe your college experience
I have had an easy transition to college. I have a great group of friends, I enjoy and learn a lot in my classes, and I spend time exploring extracurriculars. Overall, I think it has been one of the best things I have done for myself.
Tip for future students
I would say that it’s important to get in touch with your professor early on in the semester and establish a relationship so that it’s easy to ask for help and get advice in the future.
Favorite class
Humanitarianism, it taught me a lot about how the sector works, its biggest challenges, and how it operates under different circumstances in different parts of the world.
Career goals
I want to go to law school, so I anticipate doing some prep work or jobs that would help me be successful there. I also want to go to the Peace Corps.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love spending time with friends, talking, getting food, watching a show or movie, doing arts and crafts, listening to music, etc.

Favorite spot on campus
The Corcoran Art Building because it is quiet, beautifully designed, and very peaceful.
