I absolutely LOVE this school and I would love to help you fall in love with it too!! One thing about UCSD is you'll definitely get your steps in it's HUGE but not to worry I'm a walker :). I LOVE WALKING, so I've genuinely walked campus at every hour and I have an innate appreciation for everything it has to offer and can find my way around in my sleep so I gotchu for sure!!!

Describe your college experience

I've LOVED my college experience so far! I have some friends from high school and I've made a lot of new friends and I'm in this club called Product Space which genuinely feels like my second family so I feel like I've really found a community. I also LOVE the campus it's so gorgeous, and there's a part of the beach where you still have wifi and can literally study at which is literally THE DREAM.

Tip for future students

Go out to every recruitment event you can and don't get discouraged! It may take you a little while to find your people but they are out there do not worry. Be open to trying new things and exploring in all senses because you will learn a lot about yourself and may find you like a completely different set of things than you used to.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far had been MGT 16 which is a course called "Personal Ethics at Work". Although ethics may not seem like a super interesting subject the course really focused on grey areas in the business world and hard decisions that were made and it was super interesting to see how things aren't always black and white and all the thical dillemas which may arise. This class was also super discussion heavy which I thought was fun and a different than the rest of my classes.

Career goals

I hope to go into product for now! I'm specifically interested in product management and marketing.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Go out with my friends!! Then take a late night walk on the beach with them when the moon reflects off the ocean and its so so pretty then maybe go back make shin ramen and watch a movie then SLEEPOVERRR

I love Pinpoint Cafe at Scripps but on main campus I LOVE the Glider Lounge absolute favorite study spot and always has a nice view.
