Describe your college experience
I can easily say that attending OU was the best decision I have ever made. The people I've met here and some of the extracurricular activities I have been involved with, mainly from rowing, have made me a more confident, hardworking, and grounded person. I feel as though I've carved out a home and place in Norman which I firmly believe I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.
Tip for future students
Try everything that interests you and talk to new people. You never know the kind of people you'll meet or where you will land until you go for it. Find a place where you feel confident and with people that lift you up. Of course, study hard because you are there for school at the end of the day and the material you'll learn will actually start to matter for your career.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has probably been Financial Accounting, it was the first class I took that really dug into my major. Also, the course interested me in that it was a lot of organizing certain things into categories which I enjoy doing in general.
Career goals
After I get my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend law school. After that I hope to either be a tax or some king of corporate attorney.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be with those I love. First would probably include a good meal, whether it be homemade or a cheap fast-food place doesn't matter. Then I usually like to take a walk to a pond and feed the ducks and watch the other wildlife there. After sunset, I go back to my place or somewhere else and get cozy to watch a movie or show.
