Howdy, I am a rising Junior at Texas A&M University! I am a Mechatronics Major. I transferred to Texas A&M University from Texas A&M at Galveston during my sophomore year. I still come to the main campus often, so nothing here is new to me. I am excited to show people around this campus that is very dear to me and answer any questions you may have on whether it is the right fit for you!

Describe your college experience

When coming into college, I wasn't as outgoing as I am now, so I had a bit of trouble. Through the dorms, I met some great people who are now some of my closest friends. Joining clubs and student associations also helped me become a more outgoing person. The staff here are also very friendly and are truly professionals in what they teach.

Tip for future students

Talk to lots of people. Something I wish I had known earlier is that you don't have to be an official member of Clubs or Student Orgs to go to their meetings. I recommend joining 3 clubs: 1 for Profession, 1 for Fun, and 1 for exercise. This makes it manageable to keep up with school work. If there are any other clubs you're interested in but don't join, follow their social media page to know when they hold meetings and go to any if you're available!

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been Digital Electronics (ESET219). The professor was great at teaching the class, and the Lab was very interactive, which made it very fun.

Career goals

I hope to be able to work on the technology of the future which I hope will be able to help everybody in the future!

Ideal way to spend a free night

I like to play video games with my friends or go play sports with my roommates.

High school or secondary school

I attended Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep in Dallas, TX
