I'm an outgoing Political Science major who knows some of the best study spots.

Hi! I'm Charish. I'm a senior on the pre-law track, majoring in Political Science here at UCF. I spent most of my life in Haiti but moved to Florida for high school. I've come to call Florida home, and I've really cherished the friendships I've made here. My friends have dragged me out to experience quite a few of the traditions UCF students enjoy, including Spirit Splash! I spend most of my time at home since I'm a commuter, but when finals roll around, you can usually find me tucked away in a little nook on the fourth floor of the library (a new addition, since it's the quiet floor!). I really love this campus. I love stopping by the dining hall with my friends, finding parking in Lot H, and all the little, silly things you come across while being part of the UCF community. I'd be happy to show you some of the best places to study, how to reserve a quiet room, the best time slots to find parking, or give you an honest review of what commuting to and transferring to UCF have been like. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Describe your college experience

I love the amount of clubs UCF has to offer and it's really easy to connect with other students via classes and those clubs. It was pretty easy transferring to UCF with Valencia's direct connect.

Tip for future students

My tips for any student coming in is to stay on track with all your assignments, connect with your teachers, make friends and enjoy the university.

Favorite class

Political Psychology because it was interesting seeing how big psychology played a role in the way people vote and how politicians use that to their advantage when it comes to their campaign.

Career goals

I'm planning to go to law school.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I mostly like to stay home but whenever I make plans with friends. A night out at a bar where we can eat, sit, chat and drink is the best. I just love hanging with my friends in general.

High school or secondary school

Archbishop McCarthy High School

Previous college

Valencia College

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot would have to be behind the library near the fountain (one of the shaded areas), or the level 4/5 of the library.

Meeting point

UCF Reflecting Pond on the University of Central Florida campus
