Describe your college experience
My transition to Rutgers taught me to be more independent and intentional about how I spend my time. Balancing coursework, campus involvement, and exploring career interests helped me become more comfortable asking questions and taking initiative. Double majoring in Business Analytics & Information Technology and Marketing has allowed me to explore both analytical and creative interests, while serving as Marketing Director for Rutgers Artificial Intelligence in Business has given me opportunities to connect with others and develop my leadership skills. Now as a senior, I have a clearer sense of what interests me and more confidence approaching unfamiliar challenges.
Tip for future students
You don’t need to have everything figured out when you start college. Explore classes and organizations that interest you, ask for help, and introduce yourself to people. Small steps can lead to opportunities you didn’t know existed.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Business Decision Analytics under Uncertainty because it connects analytical thinking with decisions that don’t have an obvious answer. I enjoyed learning how to weigh possible outcomes, evaluate trade-offs, and make informed choices when information is incomplete. The professor's teahing style and mannerisms added immensely to the class' value as well.
Career goals
After college, I hope to pursue a role that combines marketing, analytics, and customer experience. I enjoy understanding what people need and using data to recommend improvements. Over time, I’d like to grow into a leadership role where I can guide strategy and help others develop.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night would be grabbing dinner with friends, trying somewhere new, and catching up without a packed schedule. Sometimes the best nights are the simple ones where there’s no rush to be anywhere.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is The Yard on College Avenue because it captures the energy of Rutgers. I like being somewhere students come together to eat, catch up, and take a break between classes. On a large campus, it feels like a shared gathering place that makes the university feel more connected.
