Outgoing pre-law student who knows the best spots on campus!

Hi! I’m a Political Science major at Rutgers–New Brunswick on the pre-law track. I’m involved in Alpha Gamma Delta, participate in philanthropy events and campus activities, and work at Chipotle, so I get to experience Rutgers from both the student and working sides! I also love exploring different restaurants around campus, finding new spots with friends, and taking advantage of everything New Brunswick has to offer. As a tour guide, I want to show prospective students what life at Rutgers is really like, from academics and campus involvement to the food, traditions, and community that make Rutgers feel like home.

Describe your college experience

Starting in college was scary because I didn't know anyone coming in, but I quickly made many friends in my dorm building freshmen year and we have been friends ever since. I've been having a lot of fun with the freedom that comes with living alone for the first time and also learning interesting subjects in class. I also rushed a sorority freshmen year which gave me my best friends and has kept me busy.

Tip for future students

Something I wish I knew before starting college is that you can meet so many people by getting involved in on-campus organizations like clubs. It's the best way to make friends and memories you'll carry with you long after college.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been International Relations because it covers super interesting subjects like global politics and teaches you to get involved in international affairs!

Career goals

After college I hope to go to law school and become a corporate lawyer.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night is to meet up with my friends at our sorority house and then go to the diner on campus for dinner. Then we'll go to my friends house off-campus and watch a movie while studying and have a cozy night in!

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is The Yard because there is a bunch of places to eat and lots of seating to hang out with friends. There's also often an event happening.
