Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I am a freshman hoping to major in communications. I came from a small private school, so coming to Rutgers felt very scary to me. However, everybody here is so friendly and there are always people willing to help you find your way around! I love all animals, but especially dogs and cats. I have a cat right now, but I’m always gonna be a dog person! I also like to do creative activities in my free time. I love to do hair, makeup, and nails in my free time. Another activity I enjoy is reading and writing. English has always been my best subject, and I think it will always interest me!

Describe your college experience

The transition has been fairly smooth. The biggest challenge was making my schedule and finding all of my classes, but I got the hang of it quickly!

Tip for future students

I wish I knew not to stress so much! It might seem overwhelming but you can adjust very fast and it is so fun!

Favorite class

My favorite class is criminology because it is unlike any class I have previously taken, and the material is very interesting.

Career goals

I hope to go to law school. I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was seven, and I am hoping to be a medical malpractice lawyer.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I like to hang out with friends, and what we do doesn’t matter as much as the company does. My favorite thing is to watch a movie or just talk.
